Well, it's already halfway through the winter season and I am finally getting around to posting the rest of my capsule wardrobe. I carried through most of the coats from my fall capsule and only made one new purchase, a down coat from Uniqlo. Not surprising, given my love of Uniqlo down... This new coat, however, was purchased with a very specific use in mind. Adrienne and I took a trip to Oslo, Norway over New Years! I'm happy to report that the coat kept me very warm, even in sub-freezing temperatures and snow. Also, make sure to keep your eyes out for an Oslo travel post on the blog sometime soon!
As with coats, so with shoes... Six of the seven pairs I chose for winter were carried over from the fall. The only new addition, a pair of waterproof Ugg boots, were also specifically for the Norway trip. I chose these because they looked like a sleeker, blacker version of the famous L.L.Bean Duck Boots. They kept my feet completely warm and dry, even in the snow, and I know they will be on heavy rotation during this 'rainy' season in the Bay Area.
